Low signal strength
Due to either distance from a base station or obstacles between
your car phone and the base station, the radio signal strength
from a cell site may not be strong or stable enough to provide a
reliable cellular connection for trouble-free reception or
transmission. Therefore, to ensure the best possible
communication, remember to take the following points into
consideration when using your car phone:
Data and fax transmission will work best when the car is
stationary. Attempting cellular communication while in a
moving vehicle is not recommended. Fax transmission is more
easily impaired than data or text message transmission.
Check the signal strength on your car phone display. If the
cellular signals are not strong enough to support a voice call,
data connection should not be attempted until you can find a
location with better reception.
